James and Clara make a video

Hello friends and family. Last Christmas we bought a video camera that we could use to capture special moments of our daughter’s life. Learning how to best put this camera to use in our home has been a year long process, and we are only now breaking through the wall of finding out how to create and post videos on YouTube. That’s right, it took one whole year for us to finally closed the technology gap between ourselves and teenage boys that accidentally light themselves on fire.

So, here is our first video to share with the world of our daughter. Hopefully it will be the first of many. I apologize for the low quality and the cheesy effects. This is really a test in many ways as I figure out our video editing programs and find the best ways to transfer files from the software to the internet. I wanted to try as many things as I had time and patience for. Any feedback that you might have would be great! I will not be offended by any knowledge that you could possibly share.

And most of all, please enjoy our wonderful daughter. We are so proud of her! just one more week and we can post pictures (and maybe more video) of her One Year Birthday!

~James

  7. She's so cuuuute! That's probably all I ever say to describe her now that I think of it, but it's accurate! She's got a great smile.

In fact, that's *nearly* the first I've ever seen James too!
