Yay, it's May!
Whew. James' finals week is over, and his grades have come back one by one to show that he passed them all (and did very well in them too)! I have only three more weeks of work at school until they let all the students (and teachers) out for the summer. Outside it is lighter and warmer everyday, and we're getting together with teens, young adults, and families nearly everyday of the week. Whoo-hoo. I love Alaska.

It's just now getting lighter?! Wow! I have got to come see this bizarre phenomenon. We've been loving our bright days for at least a month and the last few days have been plain sweaty!

Right now it's light until 11:30 at night. I don't know when the sun comes up in the morning because when I get up at six, it is already broad daylight. I can't tell you how energizing the daylight is. It's so hard to wind down in the evening with hours of daylight left to enjoy!
